Where did the first person get the idea that somebody, somewhere existed who needed to be worshipped, appeased or followed?  And how did the idea come about that if we didn't say, do or give the right things, that this being would get upset or angry with you?  Where did religion come from? And, finally, how is Christianity different than some of these general ideas?

Join us in Faith Cafe, starting this Sunday, as we consider these questions for the next 6 weeks. Each week we will watch a DVD discussion starter by Rob Bell entitled "The Gods Aren't Angry" and then talk about these ideas. Come and learn!. We will have weekly scripture readings that illuminate the message. Each session and discussion will stand alone, so come to as many as you are able and don’t feel that if you miss one you’ll be left behind.

We meet each Sunday morning in the Fireside room from 9:00-9:50am. We’ll have fresh brewed coffee and yummy bagels for you to enjoy! This is also a great way to introduce friends to our community!

But Sunday mornings aren't just for grownups! Bring your kids (ages 3-11) to Room 20 for breakfast and fun. Bring the precious little ones (under 3) to the nursery where they will be happy and safe.
